THE BACKPACKING LIST:

  • I made this list so as to have a placeholder of info for all my backpacking gear that I carry in the mountains.
  • This is what I would generally carry for a 6-day trek in the Himalayas (except winter, where I'll carry an extra fleece).
  • The camera gear as expected is the heaviest of all and adds a lot of weight. But it's neccessary for me to carry that.

NOTE: I haven't mentioned Tents, Sleeping Bags or Food in this list because I have gone on treks in the Himalayas with trekking organizations and they provide with all the three things mentioned above which we do not have to carry. This list is as per my current experience of going on treks in the Himalayas.

Now let's get to the list!
